Happy female Prime Minister day! My housemate’s girlfriend Lindsay and I have formed a new band and written a song for our new leader. I present to you:

The Political Dykes - ‘Julia Gillard’

• Organiser 1: ARGH, someone's sent me an email ranting about the lack of disabled access at the venue.
• Organiser 2: What? Where? It's fine, isn't it?
• Organiser 1: Apparently people in wheelchairs can't get upstairs.
• Organiser 2: Goddammit, why do they even WANT to get up there? Disabled people always want to go to the most annoying places.

Tonight on Twitter, ABC Brisbane’s brekky host Spencer Howson posted a coy shot of himself in a calming bubble bath, ahead of his first 4AM start of the year.
